Subcision Service

The best foundation you can wear is a glowing & healthy skin.

Subcision

Subcision is performed using a special hypodermic needle inserted through a puncture in the skin surface, to break fibrotic strands that are tethering the scar to the underlying tissue. The release of the fibrotic strands and new collagen deposition caused by wound healing leads to cosmetic improvement of the scar.

It is indicated for depressed distensile scars (due to trauma, surgery), depressed bound down scars (due to acne, varicella [chickenpox]), depressed skin grafts, wrinkles or cellulite dimples. Usually subcision is done with sharp edge needle, so it is very painful, with lot of bleeding and almost confirmed post-procedure hematoma.

Treatment
At SPARSH subcision is done with CELLINA micro-needling RF machine, using special blunt cannulated RF needle delivering RF energy at the needle tip.

Fibrotic strands are broken by RF cauterization causing no bleeding or post- procedure hematoma. Also, there is activation of peripheral tissue by heat formation, leading to excellent new collagen formation. Thus, results achieved are far better than the conventional method.
